1 Corinthians 13:7
Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves.
Our hearts are drawn to environments of acceptance. The more we choose to protect, trust, hope and preserve, the closer our spouses will want to be to us. Make an effort to be a “safe place” for your spouse’s heart today.
Even in the best of marriages gaps occur between what we expect and how our spouse acts. It is our choice to believe the best of our spouse or assume the worst of them. People who stay in love cultivate an attitude of believing the best about each other, even when they get disappointed. When we have a loving attitude toward our spouse, they will feel drawn to us and the relationship will flourish.
